The Australian Tropical Marine Aquaculture Facility (ATMAC) was a proposed aquaculture research facility designed by Oceanis, developed around the concept of creating practical synergies between Queensland’s aquaculture industry and existing port infrastructure at the Townsville Port precinct.

Early-stage planning focused on locality mapping, port siting studies and design overlays to test how research functions and industry interfaces could operate side-by-side within the broader marine precinct.
