Minderoo Exmouth Research Laboratory

The Minderoo Exmouth Research Laboratory (MERL) expands marine science capability on the Ningaloo coast, providing researchers with contemporary facilities to support high-quality, high-impact work near the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef.

Oceanis contributed to the planning and implementation of the laboratory facilities and associated seawater systems, helping ensure the infrastructure meets the functional requirements of marine research and can support a range of scientific studies. Oceanis worked collaboratively with the project team to align the seawater system design and facility planning with research needs, with an emphasis on practical operation and long-term reliability.
